Mazomanie and Black Earth Elementary Schools have accepted the challenge of helping to find a cure for Blood Cancers! We are joining over 27,000 schools across the nation to make a difference in the lives of Blood Cancer patients. Leukemia is the most common cancer in children, adolescents, and young adults under the age of 20.

Starting February 4th, 2019, our schools will be working to reach a goal of $2,200. A letter and collection box will be coming home in your student’s backpack talking about Pennies for Patients, along with instructions for setting up their own online giving page. Our students are tasked with completing six missions on their two week journey to help find a cure for Blood Cancers in honor of local students and current patients.

Join us in these fun dress up and collection days at Mazomanie and Black Earth Elementary Schools:

Tuesday February 5th- Neon Nickle Day (donate all your NICKELS and wear NEON colors)
Wednesday February 6th- Dazzling Dimes Day (donate all your DIMES and wear SPARKLES)  
Thursday February 7th- Crazy Quarters Day (donate all your QUARTERS and wear crazy HATS and SOCKS)  
Friday February 8th- Pajama Penny Day (donate all your PENNIES and wear your PAJAMAS)

Monday February 11th- Team Jersey Day (donate all your BILLS and wear your favorite JERSEY)   
Tuesday February 12th- Wear Orange Day (official color of LLS)
Wednesday February 13th- Super Hero Day (dress as your favorite superhero)
Thursday February 14th- Valentine’s Day (show your love for Cancer patients)  
Friday February 15th- Pennies and Popcorn (last donation day)
